In 2024, ODAT Machine was purchased and became a division of Howell Laboratories, Inc., an employee-owned design and manufacturer for the US Department of Defence based in Bridgton, ME.

Founded in 1992 by Richard C. Pratt, ODAT Machine has adapted with the changing technology and manufacturing practices we know today. Since its inception, we have partnered with our customers to bring products from prototype to rapid production. ODAT Machine services many industries, including aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and optics.
